More Halloween Goodness (a free download).

Night of the Living Dead

I'm sure everyone has seen this, if you haven't, you need to. It's a classic, it started a whole genre. To the average audience it might not meet the horror standards of today, but its a great little film.

From wikipedia.org
"Night of the Living Dead (1968) is a seminal horror film directed by George A. Romero which was to transfigure the horror-movie genre. The plot is simple and familiar to viewers even casually acquainted with the genre: the dead come to life, spreading their condition through the United States and attacking the living in order to feed upon their flesh. It was filmed in Evans City, Pennsylvania.

Although a low budget film (it cost around $114,000 to produce) and helmed by a first-time director, the film is considered a horror classic by many film critics, and placed #93 on the American Film Institute's 100 Years, 100 Thrills list. It was shot in black and white, and employed cost-saving special effects as using Bosco chocolate syrup as cinema blood. Extras working on the film got one dollar and a T-Shirt Stating "I Was A Zombie In Night of the Living Dead!""

The original distributors of the movie messed up on the movies copyright, so it is a available for free. Night of the Living Dead. Free horror classic right here.

Happy Halloween

The Raven.
By Edgar Allen Poe.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
" 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door;
Only this, and nothing . . .

Don't call it a come back. (c) LL Cool J.

There is no reason for my absence. None at all. I got a blog account in March of 04' in hopes of. . .I don't know what my hopes were. I assumed that everyday I would write something fun or witty or interesting, or fun and witty, but never ineteresting and fun. And each day people would come to my blog and take enjoyment in my thoughts and words. I think I'm the only one who ever read my blog. Anyway, since I've been with my present employer all blogger and blog spot related pages have been blocked. Until recently. For some reason or another I can access these pages, I don't know if this is a temporary thing or permanent.

So now, without further ado, do, do. . .Things I like about My Work Place.

1. The lovely radiating sun impressionist that we call, fluorescent light bulbs. This place is full of them, and I love them.

2.My tiny geometrical home, away from home - my cubical. I love early 90's style carpeting. . .on walls. Hence, my love for my cubical.

3. Free music. I'm not talking KaZaa or Bittorrent. I'm talking pure, legal, free music. On my left I have the Kenny G of whistling, Buttons Fachiti. On my right, I have DJ BD, making sure I have my daily dose of Rod Stewart.

4. Aroma. I love smells, especially the smells of a freshly used men's bathroom in the morning dew.

5. Vending Machines. These aren't the same vending machines from the day of yore. These, these are something else. For .60 I can enjoy a whole pack of stiff, non-pliable, double mint gum. These machines also feed my newly found LifeSavers PepOmint addiction. I am not kidding you, I eat whole cylinders of these blasted things as if my unborn children's, bastard friends depeneded on it.

P.S. If you like, no if you love halloween check out, X-Entertainment Halloween Countdown.
