I Didn't Realize that I worked for Commies
Today, Monday March 27th 2006, marks the 1 week anniversary of "NO MUSIC ALLOWED AT WORK."
Back Story: On Friday the 15th of March, an email was sent out - due to a complaint - someone in my company, while on the phone, supposedly had the radio too loud. In turn, instead of disciplining the wrong doer, like grade school, we are all punished.
So, they put a ban on every and all types of music devices. Including headphones. Makes no sense to me, but then again - I'm not a dumbass.
Without the music my repetitive, boring job is that times a very large number.
Within a month, our Casual Friday and music has been taken away. I only see more awesomeness in the future.
